Because we prefer the all natural method of food preparation, all of our dishes and ingredients are gluten-free, with no MSG and no preservatives. The Art of Making Tamales - Class Details

- Times: 12:00 Noon or 7:00pm (Classes will last at least 3 hours)

- Chicken, Pork or *Vegetarian
(*Vegetarian option will be held at the end of the Noon meat class. Approximately 3:00pm)

This is a hands on cooking class and you will be bringing home a dozen tamales (a $50 value) included in the price of your class.
Space is limited so class fee is non-refundable. However, if you are not able to attend this class, the fee you pay may be applied to future classes.

Canby Asparagus Farm's Casa de Tamales has been bustling with Christmas Tamale orders and looking forward to a warm family Christmas day.
Think of having a Mexican tradition of Christmas tamales for dinner or for Christmas Eve. Or how about starting your Christmas day with warm Pumkin tamales made with Winters Pumpkin, Sugar, Raisins and Spices or maybe Cinnamon Sugar Tamales with sweet masa, cinnamon and vanilla. Our Hours for Christmas Week
We will be open Friday and Saturday Christmas week from 11am to 7pm and closed Christmas day. We are usually closed on Mondays but on December 26th we will be open from 11am to 7pm.

Each tamale is made the good old fashion way and they will be the most delicious tamales you have ever had. We'll have them ready for you to pick up at our Milwaukie, Oregon location or we can deliver them for you in the Portland metropolitan area.
We can even wrap them up in a beautiful tamale steamer gift basket. The gift basket can be made up with the ingredients to make tamales as show in the pictures below or they can have fresh or frozen tamales, ready to steam and eat.
